Our story

Dog thrive’s philosophy

Dog Thrive has decades of experience in each field. From daycare workers, dog training, grooming, and customer service. Dog Thrive prides itself on being certified, professional, and up to date on all services we offer so we can provide the best possible service for each and every dog that walks through our doors. No matter what the size or the breed may be!

What differs us from others?

Dog Thrive is founded and owned by Matthew Stewart, who has had a passion for dogs his entire life. He has actively been involved in the community helping rescues, training dogs from Animal Control, and created Dog Thrive with the mindset that dogs are family, and each dog left in Dog Thrive’s care will be treated like family.

Mark Stewart / Co-Owner

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mark worked for Kroger for 8 years. He started from a bottom entry level position and steadily worked his way up into a management position overseeing 20+ stores. As he grew with Kroger, he realized that his passion has been and will always remain with dogs. He’s always had a desire to help dogs and wanted to be around them any chance he had. When he found out his brother Matthew and Scott Parker were starting Dog Thrive, he was all in. He decided to uproot his life and move with his girlfriend and join this amazing team and business. He truly cannot express his love for this company and every dog that comes through its doors. “It’s a blessing to be able to work and help dogs every day of my life.”
